Medium Voice, Piano
From Volume 1 of Britten's folk song arrangements and dedicated to Bobby Rothman, son of a record shop owner in Long Island, NY. Its date of composition and first performance are unclear, but all of the first volume of folk songs seem to have been written during Britten's stay in the USA (which ended in March 1942). It is published in 2 versions: high voice and piano and medium voice and piano.
